About Joe Regalia

Joe is a law professor, trainer, and attorney with a passion for legal writing, persuasion science, and technology.
Joe is a law professor, trainer, and attorney with a passion for legal writing, persuasion science, and technology. He combines his experience as both practitioner and professor to create exciting new ways to teach legal skills. Before co-founding Write.law, Joe graduated summa cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School, clerked for the Ninth Circuit, and worked as an associate at top AmLaw 100 firms.
Joe heads up Write.law's legal skills training team. He is also a member of the faculty at the William S. Boyd School of Law—the number one ranked law school for legal writing skills and research. Joe regularly leads training for leading firms and organizations, including Fortune 500 companies, the Department of Justice, and U.S. Courts of Appeals.

When will your summer programming become available?

How long will our firm have access to the companion course?
Your firm will have access to the companion course for three months (from a date of your choosing).
Do summers need firm emails to get started?
While we prefer users sign up with their firm email, it’s not required. That means you can onboard summers even before they get their firm emails. Our easy sign-up process makes onboarding your newest team members a breeze. 
What is the workshop companion course?
Here at Write.law we design and create interactive videos and lessons for our online training platform. The Summer Associate Writing Program comes with access to a related online course so that participants can dive even deeper into what they learn on workshop day.
How will our summers get access to the companion course?
Getting your summers onboarded is simple. We'll send you a custom onboarding link that you share with your team. They sign up with their email and start learning!
Do we have to pay for training or admin seats?
Nope. You can onboard as many team members as you need from your PD, Recruiting, or other training teams.
Is there a cost difference between the 90-minute and 3-hour workshops?
Nope. Each program starts at $5,000 (virtual) and $12,500 (in-person) whether you choose the 90-minute or 3-hour workshop. We offer the 90-minute workshop as an option because some firms prefer to keep their programming shorter.
If you do opt for in-person, we strongly encourage you to choose the 3-hour workshop to get the most value from your program.
